    Activies with toddlers!

    When is too much?

My DS 16 mths does alot of things but im just wondering when is too much? is it possible to burn them out?

Atm, DS is doing Playgroup on Monday (2 hours), Gymbaroo on Thursday (45mins) and swimming lessons on Fridays (30 mins) atm his loving all his activies, such a social, outgoing little boy, he learns so much from all his activies but i would love to get him into a soccer team but im worried it might be too much? I would do soccer with him on Saturdays runs for 45mins. Wat do u all think? too much? or fine as long as he enjoys these things?

He does spend the afternoons at home playing with the toys or we go for a walk to the park for a play.

I didn't realise they had soccer teams that young! TBH, if he was in full-time care he'd still be doing more than what you've described ... so I don't think it's too much.

As long as you and him are happy then go for it. Where do they have soccer for toddlers?

Never too much, they are learning all of the time. Wow, soccer do they have it for that age? Only thing is it turns them into a social butterfly LOL...some days when we stay home DS asks to go out in the car or pram. We go to playgroup twice a week for 2hrs, we have a 2hr coffee meet up every Thurs plus he is due to start Daycare 1-2days a week soon. Also swimming lessons on a Sat morn. So we are always out & about.
