Columstrum?

With my DD's pregnancy I started leaking colustrum from about 28 weeks. It stopped for awhile then by around 37 weeks I was leaking here and there - sometimes needing to wear breast pads.

This time round I haven't leaked any. Is this okay? Any reasons why? Does it mean I won't have as much milk or it own't come in as quick?

I only leaked once at night when I was about 33 weeks, but was told by MW some women don't leak at all but it doesn't mean there's none there. You could try gently expressing a little to see if any comes out? That's what I did to reassure myself there was something in there.

You most likely have colostrum there, whether you are leaking it or not. Leaking is something that can definitely happen in one pg and not another - I did for my first and not my second too. I also leaked less with baby 2 once my milk came in too - I have no idea if that's related but it could be, as leaking is to do with the muscles around the nipple and they can get stronger.

I had no leaking and had a huge milk supply

I had the exact same question this time around (it's in a thread here somewhere, I was worried because I leaked in my prev pg's but not this one)
As it turns out I have plenty of milk.
I did as Janine1511 suggested, expressed a little bit in the shower, so I knew it was there, I still worried i might not have much...but no fear. Plenty of milk, just not leaking.

This is my second pregnancy and am 16 weeks preggy. The last couple of days I have felt my boobs tingle a couple of times during the day only to find when I get home my bra is very damp. I'm guessing this is normal even if I'm only 16 weeks (had a bit of a googly) so it looks like I'll be wearing pads everywhere this pregnancy!!

I guess second time around things are happening sooner, I had morning sickness at 5 weeks instead of 7 like with my son.

I have had my GTT test and am positive for Diabetes again, with my son they finally found it at 36 weeks (a little too late, but the nurse ignored my concerns and wouldn't send me for a second test because I was underweight pffft!)

My belly looks like I did with my son at 25 weeks not 16 lol.

And my b**bies are huge, not that I'm upset about that as I am normally a b cup so I'm enjoying them

I never leaked at all and have not had any probs BF. If anything at the start I had too much milk, so no need to worry.
