    Antibiotics

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if antibiotics make your little one unsettled? My DS is 15 months old and is currently on amoxil paed drops for a throat infection and he has been waking at night, off his food and generally quite grumpy (and throwing some mean tanties!). He is seemingly better and we caught the infection early and I'm hoping that once he finishes his antibiotics (in another day) that he will get back to being my happy child?

DS will go off his food and often have runny poos. It is totally normal. Might be worth getting some Inner Health Plus or simlar pro-biotic to help restore his digestive balance.

Thanks Spring Angel! I think Blackmores have a probiotic in a powder form so I might grab some today and start him on it when he finishes his course. He did have nasty nappy rash which is better now so hopefully things will get better, poor little man. It's awful when they are sick and cranky. All the best for the remaining weeks in your pregnancy. Sending positive vibes and best wishes your way :-)

Just the sore throat can make them go off food and be miserable, may not be the ab's. Hope he feels better soon.
