Smile Kick off time approaching ...........

    Hi all

Just wanted to send a quick post to say thanks to everyone who has responded to my posts over the past months - all thoughts and insights have been really helpful and appreciated.

After a very non eventful pregnancy all turned very exciting for us in the last stretch - developed a condition that was uncomfortable for me but also not good for the baby - so as Im over the 38 week mark its been decided that bub needs to make its mark in the world.

Booked in for c/s at 6.30pm tomorrow evening - so parentdom here we come!

Look forward to talking to you all from the other side - Cheers Xxx

I'm sure all will go well for your birth and I hope your recovery is uneventful. One thing I would recommend you get between now and then, knowing you are having a c/s, is some granny knickers that will sit high above where your wound will be as regular bikini knickers can rub right where it is and make it uncomfortable. Good luck and I can't wait to hear how it all goes.

Good luck with your c/s and on becoming a mum!!! I had to have an elective c/s for my first pregnancy and it went realy well. I wasn't in too much pain afterwards and was walking around the hospital room the same day. You will get some help from the midwives (especially the first night) so that you can get some sleep afterwards.
