can anyone help me out?

when I was PG with DS, I started handknitting him a blanket, blue, white and green stripes of bamboo cotton, I finshed it when he was 3 months old.
I used it heaps but now I can not find it! My mum is very good at this sort of thing, but only for other people, as her daughter, Im too close.
I cant even remember the last time I saw it, I have looked evrywhere I could possibly think of.
I would be eternally greatfull if anyone has an insight or feeling as to what has happened to it. Obviously it has great sentimental value to me.

Aww, have you had any luck finding your blanket since you posted?

I am in no way psychic, but thought I'd throw some suggestions at you - have you looked in the boot of your car? In a not-often-used bag, maybe you used the bag when visiting someone? Could you have left it at a friend's house?
