Childcare - Wording for Thank You Card

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this thread but I need some help with wording for a thank you card for my DD's carers in her previous room. She has moved into the toddler room and we wanted to thank the carers in the Tiny Tot room for everything but not really sure what that everything is.

    Thanks

do you want light and rhyming?
    or more deep and profound?

I would say something along the lines of appreciating the care and affection given to your child in her early stages of life as they have nurtured her in her life journey....

Believe me, these cards are few and far between and VERY appreciated by staff who get them, they usually make me tear up.

Thanks BG, I know what you mean about baby brain. I think that's why I'm struggling with this.

Would love any suggestions/wording. I just don't know why I can't get this together.

I'm with ausgirl. I have had a lot of these cards over the years, and they are all special.
The one I remember most said "Digger truck car bus digger." which were the only words this little boy used to say, and then his mum had written "What X is trying to say is thankyou so much for all the special care you have given me. I will certainly miss you!" and they gave me a photo frame, which is stunning and up in my lounge room

So, yeah, make it personalised, with something that your DD does or says. Another family at the same centre gave me a photo of their child wearing this annoying singing bib that I used to always joke about with his mum.

So thoughtful of you to give them anything, they'll love it for sure.

    ok, rhyming:
it was with sadness that we left her
that first day in your care
not sure of how we would all cope
how her upbringing we would share

a Tiny Tot she truly was
with so much room to grow and learn
and now she's a little toddler
so to the big room it's now her turn

you've helped her on her journey
and you've been there with a gentle touch
so we'd like to take this time to say
    thanks you all so much!
or just more deep and meaningful:
words just aren't enough to thankyou for all the care you've provided to DD while in the Tiny Tots room. It's with a mixture of joy and sadness that we graduate her to the Toddler room. It amazes us daily how much she is growing and maturing, and we have her carers to thank for helping her along the way. We're sure her new carers will be equally wonderful with her, but we'll miss you and the input you've had so far in her little life

    Very clever!

Snugglybean - The carers have been so fantastic with DD1 so a card is the least we can do. "Digger truck car bus digger", how cute. I don't think DD has a certain phrase but I like that idea. Will have to have a think about what she does when she is there.

    Thanks!

I never thought of sending a thankyou card. I think I will have to do that. DD finished up last week at a centre she's been going to one day a week. The main carer who was there when I picked her up was just about crying when she was saying goodbye to DD. I think I'll have to send them a card.
