Family Day Carers!

I am thinking about becoming a family day carer! Just wondered if the experience was positive and how did you cope with 3 other kids + your own? Are the parents easy?

I have done Family Day Care and loved it.. I had school kids too so I had 7 kids (none of my own). I found the parents to be great, but I guess that can depend.. Some people just have personality clashes.. I found that when I got a new child I would explain to the parent my house rules and routine and if they didn't feel comfortable with it then that was their choice but I never had any problems.. My SIL does it too and loves it. I plan to do it again when I have children of my own.. Good luck

wow I've never heard of this before. How much do you generally charge parents for leaving their kids with you?
