Red face Ants in her pants??

We've taken DD (20 mths) to the Dr about a fortnight ago as she kept pulling her legs up as if squeezing them together like she is trying to hold in a wee. When I try to change her nappy she squeezes her legs together so tightly I almost need a cro-bar to move them so I can fit the nappy on properly. Its not like shes doing it as a game as there ain't no laughing involved...She jiggles around sometimes like she has ants in her pants at time too.

Dr looked at us like we were nutters - felt her tummy and sent us on our way.

She is still eating, drinking normally, nothing else has changed - she's still in the same brand of nappies, same washing detergent etc. A usual amount of wet and poo filled nappies...no change there either.

Any ideas what is going on??

    Hi Leesa
The first thing that popped into my mind was worms. Check her poo over the next few days.

Sorry I have no idea but could she have a Urinary Tract Infection?

If you are still unsure take her to a different dr.

Yes, I'd look for worms and also do a urine test. Maybe go to your Docs to pick up a urine jar (or bag ) and then take it back for testing. xo
