Red face what was your first AF post baby like??

ive just had my first AF since DD2 was born, it started sat arvo and finished last night was a little surprised it was so light, i used to have short light periods pre baby and off the pill but i still assumed the first one would be heavier.
so what were your first few cycles like? better/worse than before baby? did the get better/worse as the cycles went on

It seems like forever ago now for me, but I do remember AF being really light for the first couple and then heavier for the third cycle. It then went back to normal for me.

Mine are in that 'in-between' stage between having baby and 'back to normal', so atm they're very light, over quickly, and more frequent than usual (ie shorter than 28 day cycle). If you *feel* normal, then it is normal for you You might find the next couple are heavier and come closer together than what you're used to, I think it takes a few months for everything to settle down properly HTH!

My first one was horrific. I was in agony and was soaking through a super tampon just about hourly (sorry for TMI). It lasted for a good week. They did settle down a little bit but still so much heavier than before.
I must admit I'm not looking forward to my first one after DS because apparently they get worse with each pg.
    I'm jealous of you!!

Light and short - and I got to use my Mooncup for the first time! That said, it was also more than two years after DS was born that it returned and less than 6 months later I was UTD again. My period was never heavy and was always mostly over by day 3, too.

Medium flow for the first day or so, then light for about 3-4 days. And I got NO cramping or pain, didn't really see it coming at all which was different. Before pregnancy I would know for days leading up to AF with cramps etc.

My first was way annoying brown spotting for a week, required a panty liner, then flow for 3-4 days and spotting again (so covered about a 2 week period), then the next one (not sure how long after as I wasn't expecting it ), I had spotting late Sunday night, and by 4am it hit me with full force it was really heavy for 2-3 days then slowed down, but was over within 7 days.

First one no pain at all Second one, my scars were killing me, I could not stand for very long periods at all, I am not sure if it was jsut my episotomy scar or the tears as well, but TMI my epi scar has been causing me pain while DTD since AF returned as well, wondering if it s hormonal change thing happening or not

I am now charting my cycle just so I can have an idea what is actually happening, trying to get my O sorted atm

My first was very light and only lasted 2-3 days. I was wondering if it was even AF to begin with, it was so light. I have had 2 more since and they are getting heavier, probably heavier than pre pg, but no cramping at all which is a nice change for me. Cycles are shorter though, around 21-25 days.
