I need to pick your domestic goddess minds

How can I get candle wax off my wooden dining table?????

DS was playing with the candles during a blackout on Sunday night and it's everywhere.....SOOO ANGRY! I haven't done anything to it because I'm too scared I'll scratch the table.

Eucalyptus oil gets wax off things for me, but you'd probably want to spot test it in a hidden place to make sure it won't pull off any polish/varnish - unless you can repolish it again.

Heat it with a hairdryer so soften it and then you should be able to easily wipe it off.

put wax paper/brown paper or newspaper over it and lightly iron it - should stick to the paper. I've done this with wax on carpet. Not 100% it will work on the table. Also, you don't want to end up with heat marks on the wood, so start small at an edge and don't heat too high.

or try scraping with a wooden spoon.

heating it will help it come off.
