    Nicholas Evens?

I've just finished reading "The Horse Whisperer" by Nicholas Evans (Love Love Love It)
ans I was wondering if anyone knows of anything else by the same author? And if so are they as good as 'The Horse Whisperer'? Its not my normal genre but I really like his writing style.

There's one called The Smoke Jumper. I didn't enjoy it as much, maybe because it didn't have horses.

ETA - just checked Amazon to make sure that I had the name right and there were 2 others. One of them is called The Loop and I've read it but I had forgotten all about it until seeing the cover reminded me.

I really enjoyed the Smoke Jumper, although it took me a little bit to get into it. It's been a long time since I read the Horse Whisperer though, so I can't really compare.

I'll have to look out for The Loop!

Horse Whisperer is my all time favourite book - I felt like I'd truly suffered a loss at the end, and then they go and make the movie and butcher it!!!!

I've read Smoke Jumper and The Loop and I enjoyed both, and he's got another one called The Divide which I haven't read yet, but have on my shelf, book junkie that I am!!! I find that rereading the Horse Whisperer gives me a different perspective each time - sometimes I feel for Annie, and Robert irritates me, then I'll read it from Grace's perspective....I had never been like that with a book before, or since.

    Gee, I've rattled on!!!

Oh, The Divide is brilliant! One of those books that I borrowed from someone, but now I'm thinking that I need to own it

I just had a look at his website, The Divide sounds like an interesting read, going to have to find a copy I think!

Love The Horse Whisperer (my mum wouldn't let me read it until I was about 14 or so though!), that book is a real tear jerker for me. I really don't think the movie did it justice.
