    Tattoo Care Question

The Man got his first tat today, at long last. The leaflet said to use bepanthen, and you know, I'm sure I have some, but goodness knows where....

Does it matter what cream he uses, is amolin cream fine? (I hope so, that's what I gave him!)

    Thanks!

When I got mine done they told me to use bepanthen or an antiseptic cream, to help it heal & to keep out infection

Use bepanthen. It has an antiseptic in it as well as nourishing qualities. Make sure the skin is fully dry after a shower before applying, as if moisture gets under the cream, that's when you get scabbing. I have got 4 tats done and always apply during the flaking stage.

bepanthen is only 10 bucks from the supermarket for a huge tube. We now use it as a general antiseptic cream You are better to fork out the 10 bucks than your hubby having to get it retouched.
