    Broom substitute/swivel sweeper subsititue

I bought a swivel sweeper from the tv (late night breastfeeding purchase! )

It was good but it gets all icky and if it's not emptied it is disastrous....

It's DS9 job to "swivel sweep" after breakky and dinner. The broom and dust pan and brush don't do it for him it's just too hard to sweep it all up.

I have a dyson vacuum which I love but I want a cross between the swivel sweeper and a vacuum. Something that is light to manage it could either be battery operated like the swivel sweeper or electric. Something I can also run over the rugs when they don't need the big job of the dyson...

Is there such a thing. I want it to be upright.

    Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is what you're after but we wanted something similar and just recently bought a dust buster from Target, Black and Decker, and it was vacuum like attachments that make it more like a mini vacuum than a dust buster. Has a vacuum head attachment, long arm, brush attachment, rechargable... I quite like it. It's on special lol.

There were also bigger dust buster/vacuums, upright, that you could look at...? Some were a lot smaller than an ordinary vacuum, but a little larger than your average dust buster.

How about those manual swivel sweepers? You know the ones that were used in classrooms in the 90s?

I saw them recently but forgot where.

Yep! In the vacuum/dust buster section!
It surprised me too, I didn't think they existed! It's like a mini upright vacuum.

Should be in here: http://offers.target.com.au/massive-home somewhere, I'm sure I saw them in the catalogue

I have a rechargeable upright Electrolux that I bought from Godfrey's. Great for a quick run over the tiles when I don't want to get out my normal vacuum cleaner. About $200.

    HTH.
