    Question Grey clay-like poo

DS had been constipated for 2 days and then when he finally had a decent poo, it was grey and clay-like, then the next day same thing. So far he hasn't poo'd today so no idea if its still the same...

He hasn't eaten anything different to what he usually does so I don't think its food related - DF said it could be a sign that there's a problem with the bile from the liver digesting his food and that we'll just keep an eye on him and see how it goes.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else's DS/DD and what caused it/how long it lasted?

ETA: Just thought I'd add he has been "off-sorts" and whingy and clingy for the past week or so.. no idea if that'll help..

Your DF is right. Really pale poo can indicate liver problems, it might be best to pop down to your GP just to make sure that it's nothing serious.

Thanks for replying Pony, I'm heading to the GP in the next few days so will take DS too - thanks.

My DD did have grey poo recently. However it was only for a day and not in conjunction with unsettled behaviour... I would get it checked out too if he's unhappy or seems unwell.
