Do you like human names for doggies or do they have to be doggie names?

My animals are named with human names.

I'll provide suggestions once I know the answer to the question above...
    Yay! for a puppy!

I think more doggy names. DD1 keeps saying things like Sarah & Rosella, not too keen.

I was gonna say Rose lol. What about Angel? I knew a Staffy called Chardonnay, they shortened to Chardy which I thought was pretty cute.

I wanted to call our dog Maggie but DD thought Monty sounded better and started calling her Monty which stuck. The trouble was the dog was a girl so we ended up spelling it Monti lol. It suits her now.

    Chardy is a good one...

I always look to the things I like for inspiration, for example if the kiddies like Dora the Explorer - Dora. Or fashion designers/brands or Movie Stars, Singers etc...

A non-human name is hard, I don't know many with real dog names. Oh, wait - Sparkles, Rebel, Defa...

Interested to know the final decision. Have you had a staffy before?

We had a staffy years ago. Chubbs. Had to give him away though when we got stuck living in a 2 bedroom flat
Had a Roxy before. Keeps coming up in my head.
Hmm... I want it to be cool, but not too girly. Fang's a bit boy-dog, lol. Fangette! Ha ha ha.
    Hmmm...Jimmy (Beam)...boy too!
    Jackie (Daniels)? JD!?!
    Bah! I don't know!

For my next girl doggie, I'm going to call her Bobbie. I have a Charlie Brown (hence the profile name) and I thought Bobbie (Brown) would go with that. I'm kind of a fan of boys names for girls, like Stevie and Jordie.

Roxy is a cool Staffy name, I picture living near the beach with a Roxy doggie.
