Migraines now at both AF and Ovulation

There was a thread a while ago about getting migraines at AF. In the last 3 or 4 mths I have noticed that I am now getting migraines at both AF and when I am due to ovulate. I am so over the migraines, and being spaced out on drugs to get me through a day with 3 boys. I only get 4 imigrain tablets a month which covers me for the AF migraine. It is only a monthly script so I can't get them fortnightly and if I did I would be paying out over $50 a month in migraine meds.

I am going to the GP on the 23rd to see what now. I am looking at maybe the Depo injection to stop the periods, as I never got migraines during pregnancy. I asked for a full hysterectomy back in April I think it was, and he told me I was too young (33). If the depo doesn't help think I will find another doctor who will let me go the hysterectomy way.

I just can't do this anymore.

They have now put me on beta blockers and so far it has settled them down . They arnt totally gone, but my hormones are alot more stable
definately talk to your doc about this medication option

would you consider seeing a natrapath?
they may be able to help level out your hormones at those peaks...

Seriously I am ready to give anything a go. Kelly (BellyBelly) told me about acupuncture, and I am seriously considering looking into doing extra covers so I can travel that road to if need be. We currently don't have private health.

*Det* I have written Beta Blockers down, so will ask about those as well.
