things baby luve to play with around the house!

my dd loves the tissue box !! Anyone else have something their baby loves around the house?
we dont always have to buy big expensive toys to keep them happy, even though we just bought a fisher price jungle theme big play toy which costed us $120 she seemed more intrested in the tissue box

My DD likes pulling the tissues out of the box but doesn't try and eat them, just likes making a mess, she also likes pulling all the plastic ware out of the bottom cupboard and making music with it.

The best toy i made when she was little was rice and glitter in a clear breast pump container and glued on the lid... it rolled as it was round and she could shake it.

Oh and she likes toilet rolls???

If you have glitter or even coloured paper you can cut up small and throw in with it (anything bright really) they love that too.
DD used to try looking in and seeing whats in there, then she would shake the c**p out of it to see if it moved.

Ohh the other thing is she LOVES the plastic spoons or wooden spoons and hitting the plastic containers etc with them... some cheap shops have LITTLE kids sized ones for like $1 each, am thinking of getting DD some so they wont hurt her much and she can't break mine... lol

Tags, cords, empty milk cartons, unopened chip packets (we made nachos last night and after all her banging, it was crushed chips)... oh the blinds on the doors out to the balcony... pretty much anything we don't want her to get into, she wants to get into!

Unrolling the toilet rolls, unpacking the tissue box, remote controls, mobile phones... and everything in the her cupboard (the plastics cupboard ) in the kitchen! And also anything she can get into that she's not supposed to! Although she gives herself away by giggling hysterically when she realises she's doing something she's not supposed to!! LOL!
She also loves pulling apart a foam alphabet/number floor jigsaw thing we were given. That will keep her entertained for AGES!

A good one is to put scarves into a tissue box, or wipes container once the tissue box is destroyed, so she can pull them out & put them in all day long without making a mess

My DS loves the door stop for the sliding door into the kitchen. Whenever I put him down near it he crawls straight for it! He also has an unhealthy obsession with my car keys, lol...

    Oh, and carpet fluff!!!

OMG yes the door stop! We had three, and Jazz stashed them all somewhere!!!!! We had to go buy more as she has her own little stockpile. Obviously we found them all when we'd bought more

Charlie is obsessed with a bunch of things

Tissue box. she will wriggle and throw herself across me and make a beeline for it!

I had to take the tablecloth off the blanket box that serves as our coffee table because she was trying to pull herself into sitting position by yanking on it. kinda scary when you see a number of heavy objects inch across the table toward her. Would chew it too.

Any t-shirts she comes across, something about the texture of the material in her mouth.

her blanket on the floor. she rolls herself up like a big sausage roll.

the corner of a shopping bag was hanging out the cupboard and she realised it made noise so vigilant about tucking them away now.

fluff. i swear she collects it!

Toilet paper rolls, tissue boxes, boxes of nappy wipes (he will happily empty a whole box), pegs, cutlery and well anything hes not allowed. Forget the toys if I scold him for taking it, its great!
