OH&S ticket Q

Does anyone know if a WorkCover OH&S ticket needs to be renewed every few years or anything?
DH has the ticket, but he got it back in 2000. He has a job interview tomorrow & thay want that, but I want to make sure its ok that it was so long ago.
They might send him for an updated course anyway, but I just wanted to check.

I have the OH&S Act of 2004

It says that an employer must, if requested by H&S rep...allow the rep to attend the following courses:
a) an initial course of training in OH&S after being elected;
b) a refresher course at least once in each year, after completing the initial course of training that he or she holds office

I can't find anything about whether you are able to keep working as a Rep if you don't have the refresher course or how often the full training course needs to be completed.

He prob just needs to do a refresher, i think that is a 1 or 2 day thing.
