From what my sister went through it can take up to 8 weeks. and due to you being over seas they may not do anything until you get back so they can interview you in person. Hope this helps.
Does anyone know the average time for these claims to be processed? I am overseas atm and applied for both about 2 weeks and provided all of the requested documentation. I have got someone checking my mail and haven't received anything yet and nothing is showing up in online services. I have got the international phone number for Centrelink from their website but it's a bit difficult for me to call them atm. Thanks

Official time is 28 days - that's the KPI and generally it is done by then. Don't worry just yet.xoxoxo
thanks lulu, i've already had the interview and provided everything that they asked for but was worried that something might have happened and I'd have to start the whole process again when we get back.
