Ive been getting a sharp niggle downstairs quite regularly this morning. Been doing nothing except on the computer and I was wondering could it be a sign of things to come?
Ive only had it twice before and both times I had been walking heaps so I didnt think anything of it and it was only maybe 2 sharp niggles (making up words )
Also what do your waters breaking feel like? I had mine broken for me and part of me is worried my waters are gonna break
I've had this when walking around... the only way to describe it is like having knitting needles poking around down there! Feels really weird.. I had it with my other two so was just ignoring it this time!!
My waters broke in the middle of the night, and it was more the sound of it than anything else... I heard a huge pop like someone had exploded a balloon next to my ear! Then it just feels like you've lost control of your bladder, mine was just a trickle, not this huge bucket of water they have in some movies!!
The sharp niggles, are they painful or just uncomfortable?
As for waters breaking, with Nina it felt like a pop and water gushing out. Mine didn't trickle, it gushed LOL. With Emily, I was well and truly in labour and when my waters broke I felt like she was going to fall out.
Hopefully it's braxton hicks, but it may be more. Considering things could happen any day now for you.
You're just being cautious, that's all. When is your next app with the hospital. Maybe take some panadol and rest up as much as you can. I would be calling the maternity ward if it continues just to be on the safe side.
yeah i've had that at around 23ish weeks and I'm still here XD.
I asked mum about it and she reckon she used to get when she was pregnant with us too. I had assumed it was bub sort of sitting on a nerve that was radiating it's way down... ?
She's probably just headbutting your pelvis It's is fairly normal to get LOTS of pressure down there, but with 3 growing inside you, you're most likely to that pressure x 3 !!
i know how you feel , well not really I have never been pregnant with triplets, but i too was worried about my waters breaking. I remeber with my first i was already in hospital with pre eclampsia and i woke up at night busting to go to the toilet and my waters broke while i was sitting on my bed.. I had to get the midwife to check i hadnt wet myself. My second my waters were broken for me and my third my waters broke at home. With my third it was just in bouts of leaking and i wasnt sure if i was just wetting myself .
AS for your sharp pains it could be your muscles starting to get ready for labour, everything is soft and ready to move around and the pressure the bubs are putting on your pelvis etc might be part of the reason, but as always if you are worried call the hospital or midwife. Maybe just give them a call and explain what you are feeling so they can give you some reassurance
