    Question Childcare - narangba qld

    Hi All,
New to the Narangba area and looking for a nice daycare centre with happy staff and happy children and happy parents.

I don't mind travelling to the surrounding suburbs - any direction at this stage.....

Any feedback helpful, the fantastic, good, bad and ugly (I even want you to tell me abt the places you wouldn't even send your dog too).

    Hello,
I am not much help as I am moving too Narangba very soon too and am looking for Daycare also. But we do have the same name!!!
I am looking at the Sesame Lane ones as it's closest and I quite like their spiel on their website and the lady sounded nice on the phone but I like to go get a "feel" for the place. That's how I picked the centre my DD is currently at.

    Regards,
    Toni

    Howdy!

Glad to hear from another newbie to the area!

There are actually 2 separate Sesame Lane CC side by side. And a Tadpoles and an ABC are also not far. But I am still investigating daycare, because I am happy to travel if it means my girls will be happy. I have been caught out before by daycares that don't always make the grade.

I have swimming lessons tomorrow with some other Mums in the area - I am keen to pick their brains and see what they have to say.

    Will keep you posted.

I rang the C & K at Burpengary only to be told they are full up next year and have 100+ on the waiting list. All the others are 25-30 mins drive.

WOAH! That's crazy. My baby will be a preppie next year, so I'm really only looking for something to fill in until then. And DD#2 wont be at kinder until 2011 - maybe I need to be looking into that now!
I am hoping I find a daycare that runs a great pre-school program: that'll mean a full days care + CCB! Fingers Crossed!

The lady at Sesame Lane said they do run a pre prep program.
My DD only just turned 4 so I have a whole nother year b4 she starts prep.
My youngest is very nearly 2 so she wont start till...2013 I think. Maybe if I enroll her now she might get a place

    Kindy is nuts is Qld.

Hi, Is Kidz Cubby the one on Oakey Flat Rd? I think I may have been past it. I have given up atm, and have decided to wait until nxt year when DD#1 goes to prep to put DD#2 in care.
Thanks, I will definitely check it out!
