    * gift voucher from a beauty salon (so you can get pampered)
    * new handbag
    * new shoes
    * dinner voucher (from your favourite restaurant)
    * frames for your house
    * candles
    * vase (a good solid glass one, not a cheapie)

    That's all I can think of ATM.

    This year and last, it was stuff for the kitchen. this year was a Le creuset, last year a mixmaster.

    Something pampering like suggested, or
    CD or DVD's
    My christmas pressie will be a new dining table i think..may not be the most prettiest present BUT it is something we need, and will take forever for DH to actually getting around to getting one, so christmas (and birthday's) is the perfect time to request something that you know you may have a bit of trouble getting them to 'agree' too otherwise. Christmas last year I told DH I wanted a new camcorder, ours was that old it wasn't funny, so requested it as a pressie...win win! (even better, was originally $1800, was on sale, plus we got the cashback offer, and it ended up being $800..Bargain!)

    I even asked for a veggie garden as a birthday present one year....took DH about 5-6 years to get around to that one though PMSL..

    I'm shocking at not knowing what I want - so people just end up giving me money, which I always say I will use on something just for me - but - honestly usually goes on the groceries or a new nappy for each of the kids or something

    I don't usually need anything for me specifically to make me happy - but to put food in my family's mouth and a new pretty nappy - that makes me happy

    I'd like a jewellery box....
    And a pandora's bracelet to put in the box

    Then DH only has to buy charms after that lol!

    I have the same problem of not knowing what I want. DH, family and friends always find it so hard.

    Last year DH got me a digital camera that takes video as well. I use that very regularly.

    If you want something it is probably best to tell them what you want else you will end up like me and get a professional waxing kit ($300+) which I have never touched! heheh
