one of the girls made bolognaise when i was staying in the MBU and it was delicious, ive always just used the jars of dolmio etc but this was was quite sweet and she said the secret was tomato soup...but i never got the recipe off her! so i experimented today and it turned out just divine! so here i am going to share it with you guys.
will serve about 4 (with pasta n salad)
approx 900g beef mince
1 can rosellas condensed tomato soup
1 small red onion diced
4 or 5 large mushrooms chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon masterfoods allspice powder
oil
heat oil in pan, brown onions, mince and mushrooms.
add condensed soup, garlic powder, sugar and allspice powder, stir and let simmer for about 10 mins.
DONE! **** its delicious and super easy, i wont be buying jar sauce again!
Yummmm Emma!! If you really want to richen it, you can throw in a small tin (homebrand) of tomato paste and half a cup of beef stock. Some dried herbs and nom nom nom nom nom
