Whats that bit of material that goes around the bottom of your bed called?

I've completely had a mind blank and i want to look on ebay for one for DSD's bed.

DOes this make sense?

A valance goes around the skirt of the whole bed. It's like a fitted sheet, with the skirt attached IYKWIM.

DSD has a single ensemble type bed and her sheets and doona are pink but the base of the bed is blue with a funny pattern, it look wierd and im a bit of a neat freak in that it all has to look nice and cohesive LOL

I just use a fitted sheet. It covers the mattress and is fairly cheap.
