Question Waking Up Wet Through, Any Suggestions?

Hi, the last 3 nights my ds1 has woken up completely saturated- pyjama bottoms, sheets!! i think he's been drinking a lot due to the 'heatwave' we're experiencing here atm, but this is ridiculuos. we've been using Aldi x-large sposies, we've never had a problem with these before. Any suggestions?? i'm tired of washing sheets every morning

Ginger, I use a regular large sposie lined with an adult incontinence pad (!!!) They are plain unsticky ones and I buy them at a nappy seconds retailer. When we run out, we creep in and change her nappy last thing before we go to bed...seems to help. FWIW sometimes it's a sign they are ready to TT - "holding it in" then going in one big shot, kwim?

skybie- yes we do let him take a drink to bed. it's a bit of a sleep-cue for him so i don't think i can change that right now, unfortunately.

md- hhmmm, that's a good idea. i have no idea where to even start with TT...maybe i need to go and do some reading!

I've got a friend who does double nappies for exactly the same reason, and she says it works a treat....

That's exactly what I thought when she told me, but apparently it works for them...

Perhaps it is the nappies you're using?

We've actually just swapped over from Huggies to Babyloves as I found that both Anelise & DS2 were leaking through their nappies... it is crazy because both DH & I are fanatical about nappy changes.
I have used Huggies on all of my children and this is really the first time I have changed brands. I am really, really disappointed in huggies nappies now

i used huggies last night and it made no difference. had to get up at 5am and change him as he had wet right through again.
