    Swaddlebee Econappi?

So I am looking into MCN's cos I am horrified by how much I am spending on sposies...and I have just bought a new house!!!

I like the idea of the Swadlebee Econappi - can be used as a pocket or Ai2 and are OSFA (the organic part is a bonus but not necessary) I have read some good reviews on Product Review and Amazon but trust the BB community more

I have a short chubba bubba with BIG thighs (like his mummy) and we have been using huggies with no probs (except the $$$$) I HATE doing washing but willing to suck it up to save some money. So to the point

    1. Does anyone have these and what are they like
    2. What are a good alternative to these (similar features etc) I like the Ai2 idea and being able to have extra "liners/boosters" and may be able to reuse the shell/cover?
    3. Does anyone know any WAHM sites that make similar (I'd prefer to support Aussie mums/Aussie company)
    4. OR do any BB MP member sell these.

I am thinking of booking a Baby Blossom demo for my mums group to have an IRL look but would appreciate some feedback.

oh...and to COMPLETELY confuse the issue - my mum has offered to make some MCN's if I can get the materials - can you make an Ai2?

    hi control freak.

I had a swaddlebees in my stash and it worked ok, but it got too tight around the thighs so i no longer use it. if your bub has chubby thighs this might be an issue.

As for Aussie made nappies, I make ExtremelyNappies! PM me for info or to see some pics ( i don't wanna contravene BB policies by putting a link here). I'm totally crap at promo so i just have a facebook page at the moment.

I found that peapods leaked, greenkids were good but needed extra boosting, i hated haute, liked bumgenius but they're so expensive. I bought WAHM covers and was impressed with the price and quality, but then i discovered i much preferred using pocket nappies.

If i had my time again to buy my stash over, i'd stick to pockets, as i found once i had a few of them i never wanted to use the fitteds/covers again. i'd probably get more Wahm nappies than those of the bigger companies. You can totally customise your order and get ongoing support from Australian mums. There's not much profit in making them locally, which is why a lot of companies outsource to China, so you're supporting someone's who's doing it for love, not money! I'd get about 3 of each different sort, to try them out and see what you like best. Is there not a list of Wahm nappies sites somewhere? if not, we should start one. I know Maz makes them too.

Actually, if i had my time over, i'd make all my own now that i know how. i have a mixed stash of brand-name and home-made, but my favourites are extremelynappies.
