Im so emotional today, I feel like i'm going crazy!
I keep snapping at DD Poor thing, she's getting a 2 year molar through and i just can't handle it today. I can't wait till DH gets home, i'm taking my mummy hat off and having a niiicee long shower.
What is making me worse is its her birthday on Monday, i just KNOW that i'm going to be in hospital for it... Its breaking my heart

Love you ladies so much xx

Telly that could be it you know? Worried about being in hospital for DD's birthday so you are holding off labour till the Tuesday or Monday night.

I was sooooooooo panicky and worried that I was going to be in hospital for my eldest first day of school. He was to start on the monday and I was already over due. I was given a induction date of the following monday but didnt need it as I went into labour spontaneously on the Friday night after he had been at school for his first week.

So aim for that instead. So Monday night you can start labour ok???, and meet your new little bubba on Tuesday.
    There you go all sorted.

I am in the same boat so you have my sympathy! It is so hard being patient. I wish EDDs weren't given out! My midwife told me that baby will not come when you are stressed!

Is there a way you and hubby can go out for dinner and chill for a little bit? maybe tomorrow night go out and have a nice dinner, see a movie and forget about the pending labour and all your worries and let your relaxed state take you into labour.

    HUGS

    Hey ladies,
its finally happening for me! Woke up at 1:30 and had my show. Since then my waters have broken and i'm getting irregular contractions around 7 minutes apart (some morre some less, and some a very ouchy, some a mild)

Does anyone have any suggestions to help get things rolling?? Ifeel like its happening too slow...

    TIA

I think just staying relaxed helps things along - getting stressed and tense will slow things down.

Good luck - hope its not too long now.

Since it sounds like things are already starting I would suggest resting as much as possible, try and save your energy for later when you will need it. If you cant rest then perhaps a walk (if its not to hot) or bouncing on a fitball if you have one?
Good luck looking forward to the BA.
