The Power Of Now

I was just wondering if anyone has read The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle?

I was recommended it by someone today and have found it on ebay, but was wondering if anyone had already read it or hears of it?

Yeah I have had it for a few years now, the first few times I tried to read it.. I couldnt get past the first chapter!!

I picked it up again not that long ago and read all of it within a couple of days, and really liked it, and it all seemed to 'click'. I also have A New Earth, and I actually prefered that to Power of Now. I would def recommend them though.

Honestly I dont think I was meant to or ready to read it the first few times I tried IYKWIM.

I do know what you mean, exactly. I hope i'm ready to read it...I think I am. I''m craving information about personal growth at the moment.

I found it pretty full on the first few times, and I just couldnt grasp the concepts!

All my books are packed away in boxes at the moment, otherwise I would have a look and see what else I would recommend!

i have this book but haven't read it yet... i've read a few pages but didn't 'get into it'....
so i switched to a completely different book but its very very good, called Shantaram, its a true story, set in the slums of India, beautifully written..... one day i hope to read the power of now, but i can't force myself into a book, it has to happen naturally, otherwise there's no point, IYKWIM.
