I'm not really charting & we're not really TTC at the moment, but we're not preventing anything if you know what I mean. This morning I felt a bit bloated so thought I'd put that into FF and had a look at what day I was on. It's coming up saying "you are past your usual luteal phase, you may take a test, you may be pregnant".
I'm a little afraid! I don't want a BFN. I also don't want to jump the gun & test only to find AF arriving in 2 hours. So I wonder, how long after AF was due did you test?
i tested the day before AF was due with DD2, it was negetive, the next day i had a small bleed, i figured it was AF, when i no more bleeding the next day i tested and it was positive
I tested the day i was due and i got a faint positive, tested the next day and it was still faint but it was darker and then had a BT and it was confirmed. Go with your gut instinct and good luck!! xx
i'm kinda in the same boat. FF just changed my O date back a week (to when i was certain i Od ). and now i am one day late for AF....but i think i will wait until the end of the week to test (if AF doesnt arrive) cause FF may change it's mind again and bump me back up and i dont want to waste a test LOL!
although the needing to pee all the time is sending me bonkers lol.
Eeeeek, getting nervous! My average LP is 13 days (min 11 & max 14) & I'm up to 15 now. Getting a little excited & scared LOL!
Cassius, I'm not temping at the moment, but I've charted long enough to be pretty sure when I've O'ed, so mine is based on what I think. How exciting for you too, I was thinking about waiting til the end of the week too.
I waited until about 5 days after AF was due. I was having morning sickness, but I wanted to wait as I could handle before testing. The test line came up before the control line, so there was no doubt.
I normally waited at least 2 days after I was expecting AF. I have long cycles (anywhere between 32-38 days) so it was not uncommon for me to test on day 34 or 35 and then AF would show up on day 36
I always tested a day or two before AF was due, and always got a negative. I never got a positive until at least 3 days after Af should have arrived (even with early pregnancy tests).
I admire your restraint though. The only time I managed not to test until late was with the twins, and that was more because I felt so pregnant a test was not needed apart from getting my referral to the midwife from my GP.
Well, yeah, I do understand - I always figure I'll wait till the day after my longest cycle, but I never get there.
HPTs just seem to trigger af anyway.
16DPO today & the only time I have ever gotten that far is when I've been pregnant. Can I dare to imagine it's possible even though we have around a 1% chance of falling pregnant naturally?
