    lanolisng wool covers

After you've washed a wool cover, is it best to let it dry before lanolsing it or can you just put it in the solution? And whats the best way to do it - the shop I got it from said either make a solution up in a spray bottle or soak the nappy in the solution. Last time I soaked it as didn'thave a spray bottle, but wanted to make sure this was the best way to do it.

    TIA

What type is the solution? I use both sheepish grins foam and spray lanolin. The foam you massage in while it's wet because it's both a wash and lanolin and the spray lanolin goes on dry. HTH I've probably confused you more if you have a different brand!

It doesn't really matter - if you are spraying and the cover is just washed I'd do it wet, if its dry and you want to re-lanolise then spray away on the dry cover too If you're soaking it, best to do it wet and save yourself the time in drying it twice KWIM?
