What are your favourite MCN and why?

Iv started using MCN and am still trying to find the one that works for us. Just wondering from those that are using MCN what are your favourites and why? Hoping this will help me narrow down my decision on what to try next!

    Thanks for your advice!

we're loving daddledoo's atm, they fit great, super absorbant and have cool prints too!
one size our fav is mini lalas, they fit really well, but i think the prints might be a bit girly for ur DS

I havent really tried alot of different brands, I've tried baby beehinds magicalls, cushie tushies, green kids, eco bubs, iish fly & a few others that I dont have many of (bought them second hand off a friend)

My favourite would be cushie tushie as they fit nicely, look great & work well. The baby beehinds seem to be pretty good absorbing but are a bit more "bulky" & take quite a while to dry in my experience.

Another favourite atm is my iish fly, I got it free as it was a second (one extra snap) but I'd been wanting to get one for ages so jumped at the chance for a freebie & I love it! It looks awesome too with a little lion cub on the back

I have heard great things about itti bittis & look so trim!!! I want to try one or two of those once I get some money behind me for "luxury" items LOL as DS has enough nappies.

There are so many different types out there right now. Good luck finding the perfect one for you!

I love the baby beehinds, 'spesh the all-in-ones. I love my itti bitti's, the snap-in-ones I find are the best

I have a range (cushie tushies, eco bubs, iish fly, BBH, green kids and a few others) but the top performers would be my pop-ins - Ive NEVER had a leak with them - and they last for ages. Only problem is they aren't as pretty as the others!

Well now that the little guy has grown into an averagely proportioned child (poor guy) the nappies I used to hate fit him fantastically.
I hated my ecobubs wool nappies - but now I love em
My Fave aAI2's are my bundles of buns nappies, trimmer and more absorbant than ittis and they are embroidered.
love my genessa forge nappies too

Yeah Bundles of Buns are the new fave... but difficult to get your hands on!

Itti Bittis sewn-ins are our work horse, they just work for us, but I know the narrow crotch and low rise isn't for everyone.

I recently bought a Minilala to try - love it. Bought two more since!! Good quality and good absorbency with a great fit. But the designs are definitely more girly than boy.

I have others that I'm happy with, but these are definitely the favourites at the moment.

Sewn in Itti's have kinda taken over my stash now - but I also really like Green Kids especially for daycare, and Pop-ins are great but not very pretty Ecobubs were great, but at the moment we cant get a good fit, which will change again in a few weeks I am sure.

I really like the pretty couture type of course, but cant afford to kit out with those - hence why Itti's have become my favourite and fit my DS2 really well.

Genesa Forge are my faves at the moment...their side snappers are a great fit for DS who needs a narrow crutch, and he's a heavy wetter so they're working well for him with an extra booster. Plus cute designs! Need to buy more.

Ittis are ok, but not absorbent enough. He's only in those for an hour max but they come in handy to fill out the stash.

Waiting on 3 custom Widdlewuns to arrive, have heard rave reviews and I know they're slimmer in the crutch too so will be good for us.

    Good luck.

I live in NZ and we don't have a huge choice. I use honey child pocket nappies. I can fit a few insets in for night and my DS can go 14 hours in one.

I love the look of prefolds though for newborns. but I need to do more research here in NZ into the best quality that last the distance.

Ittis are my favorite day nappy, they have been great right from the start .
I agree that Pop-Ins are fantastic, never had a leak, I save these for long trips etc, they aren't pretty though, but a fantastic nappy.
My new favorite night nappy is a Green Kids Minky, I used to use BBB but they started to hold the ammonia smell that I can't shift, GK Minky are great!

I have alot of other various nappies in my stash but these are my fav's and the ones I highly recommend .

    Thanks for the suggestions!

At the moment we have cushie tushies, an itti bitti and some baby beehinds. Im not sold on the CT. Having a few problems with leaks and the itti bitti is well, a bit itti bitti for my man lol. Haven't used the baby beehinds yet but hope to try them today.

DS is around 11kg and is quite tall so he is not fat but is solid so i think i need some bigger sized mcn's. Was hoping to build a stash so when baby #2 comes he or she can use them too but i'v realised its not really that easy. What works for one baby may not work for the other.

Cherubs Kiss Aureals are my absolute fav, love the side snap and are just a fab fit for my DS. Ittis are our work horse nappy too, DH always reaches for the ittis.

If you want nappies for a toddler and a newborn, adjustable pockets are probably your best bet. I found all the OS AIOs/snap-ins and fitteds with the newborn fold-down that I tried had a ridiculously wide crotch for a newborn bub. Pockets are great cos you can put in a narrow little insert when they're teeny and need frequent changes, and beef them up easily when they start weeing more.
As for different brands - depends totally on the current shape of your baby! Mine is narrow crotch (so Ittis and Genesa Forge are way better than Baby Beehinds for us, and I haven't bothered trying GreenKids), chubby thighed but slim-waisted and with a long rise; I am still trying to find the ultimate AIO for this shape, hence current love of pockets.

Also, I found this 'name your top 3' thread on the essential baby forums was a useful survey.
Link: Essential Baby > Name your top 3.....
(mods, I hope this is ok as it is not a commercial link?)
Has anyone put together a list or poll like this on BB?

    wow what a question lol

I have tried SO SO SO many... too many to list...

Favs are for sure Genesa Forge side snappers. Great fit, the super nights are wonderful. I got a few super special scene ones a while back which are head turners. And the customer service is tops
