Honey in Marinade for 1 year old??

    Hi there All

Just a quick one - I'm planning on making chicken kebabs for my DD's 1st birthday and was planning on using honey in the marinade and then cooking the kebabs on the bbq - do you think it's ok for a 1 year old to eat this?? It will only be used in the marinade and then fully cooked through....

    What do you think??

    thanks

I've read different things about what age to give children honey. Personally I'll be waiting a while longer. I usually make my stir-fry with honey but just take out a portion for my DS before I add it. Could you do something similar with your kebabs? That way you don't have to be concerned about your DD but everyone else can enjoy them with the honey...
