Hi, just wondering if anyone has, or has heard of someone having a viable pregnancy after very low HCG levels.
I had a day 6 embie transfed and BT on 9dpt was HCG at 10.
Im devestated.
Having repeat test on tues.
I can't really help with the HCG level as I can't remember now what mine were past transfer but just wanted to pop in and wish you luck for your repeat test on Tuesday. All the waiting is horrible isn't it
Thanks ladies. I spoke to nurse again today. She said its not sustainable but i will have to have BT anyway. Im off my estrogen and crinone so i will bleed soon. Im looking forward to AF coming so my little ungrowing latched embie and leave the building.
xx
Jaki, it feels like crap now, but it's a great sign for the future. I know after multiple transfers with nothing, our first hint of future success was a chemical pregnancy. Same for many many other IVF'ers too.
I'm so sorry that this last cycle didn't work for you... I have popped my head in because I saw that you were leaving the snowbub in the freezer and going to the next stim cycle and I wanted to say that it only takes one and I am currently carrying what was my last snowbub out of 3... It is hard waiting to see if it has thawed though and I had one not thaw but had another to try, that was the first FET but for this one it was the only one in the freezer... Just a thought Hun... For me it was lucky last.. Good luck whatever you choose... It's a very tough road...
Thanx for that, it is good to know a FET can work.
I think the big thing for us using one is that we have to travel 3000kms from central QLD to Syd IVF, imagine going all that way and it didn't thaw!!!
Also the one we have in the freezer is a carrier female of the disease i carry (we had PGD IVF) so i have some guilt issues putting it in alone, i don't mind using it but id like some element of chance so that if it worked and when she is grown up i wouldn't have to say 'i did this to you'. It sound crazy i know! Makes more sense in my head.
Your logic is spot on Jaki80... I would be the same... A concious choice is very different to fate stepping in... Good luck and i hope you get your BFP very soon...
I recently read that after implantation hcg levels double each day (Apparently hcg isn't in your system until implantation occurs). After having blood tests myself for a suspected miscarriage earlier this year (my levels were below 2, so not preg at all) approx 1 week after implantation levels are 1-10, 2 weeks after 11-35 (I think it was 35, I can't seem to find the sheet of paper with the levels on it).
I hope this helped a bit, maybe for future reference if need be
