    A quick question

Can I chart my cycle when I'm not actually getting AF (due to breastfeeding)

I have had two periods in the last seven months. I'd like to be able to chart my cycle for a couple of reasons but just not sure if it's possible seeing as I don't really know when it starts. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Roses

I'm not menstrating either and have begun charting about 2 weeks ago. I take my temp, CP & check CM. Though I'm not breastfeeding so I'm not sure how that would affect temps etc. My LMP was 3 months ago so I have put that into FF to start the cycle. I guess you could just put in any date as the start of the cycle. I would put in a date around 6 weeks ago, but just start temping etc from now. Unfortunately I can't say how BF will affect your chart, as I don't know. I'm sure someone will answer that one. Good luck with it

Yes you can absolutely chart Read The Billings Method, or even google it and you might find what you're after. Charting isn't necessarily about cycles as such, it's about being aware of changes in your cervical mucous, and it's easy when yo know how

Are you charting to get pregnant or not get pregnant? (Cos you might want a back up plan if you NOT wanting to get pregnant)

    cheers,
