Wink What has ended up in yor pram/stroller that souldn't have been there??

    Yep! That's right!

I am talking about........................... babies that shoplift!!!!

Thought this would be a fun one!

We were at Best&Less on the weekend and I was at the counter paying for some clothes and then walked out pushing DD in the stroller.

It wasn't until about 10minutes later that I noticed she had taken some hair clips and things like that!

I took them back (they weren't very pretty anyway)!

So what has your little one taken without you realising???

I was buying a stack of DVDs and paid for them only to get out to the car and find an extra one had been pushed into the trolley.

I'm normally a very honest person but I was totally over shopping by that stage and there was no way I was going back in there to take it back. How bad am I!

If DD had have picked nice hair clips I probably wouldnt have taken them back! And hey if these shop people put things within reach of little hands then they are asking for it!

Hair clips, cards (like brithday cards, again several times), lollipops (yes several!), shoes .......you'd think I'd learn to actually look into the pram huh?? I do now. And it's only ever been DD who has stolen stuff, never DS. I must have learnt the second time round! And I think DD is a little cleptomaniac (sp?)!

lol.... Oskar has done this 2 times to me and once to my friend....cos he walks but he will be playing with something then put it under the pram if he doesn't want to carry it!!! DOH! lol. Obviously these items did NOT have security tags on them. There was a toy camera which he put under my friend's pram - so funny cos she called me to tell me she found it when putting the pram in the car. Under ours was a baby toy he'd been showing Elijah and the other thing I can't remember.

    A friggen alarm clock
N was only 18 months in his toddler seat and W was crying...I was so stressed out over W crying that I didnt even check N and found the alarm clock when we got to the car.

I was so ashamed that I took the barcode of the box and sent them $20 with a letter of apology.

N is 9 1/2.......and Jed still uses the alarm clock

We've had lollies in the pram. However....
I was out shopping one day and walked through a register to pay for some other things. I had a dress drapped over my arm that i had purely and simply forgotten about - too many other things going on trying to calm DD down, get right money out make sure i had everything that I completely forgot about the dress i had drapped over my arm!!! The girl that served me at the counter didn't even noticed and it wasn't until i was down the street DH asked what i had on my arm.. the dress i tried on!!!

I was sooooo embarrased I couldn't bring myself to take it back in .... and hey the girl on the counter can't have been doing a great job cause she didn't ask to check it or our bags!

3 Mister Men books one day. She had been looking at them and then they were gone, so I assumed that she had just put them on a random shelf. I ended up taking them back the following week. 2 of the books were the same and I thought Karma would come back and bite me if I kept them. Since then though there have been a few close calls when walking out of shops and one time where I had easter eggs sitting on the top of the pram, the checkout girl looked right at them and said nothing. I was too frazzled to take them back

I think I put a 12pack of baby food in DD's pram shade thing and somehow the shade folded up as we were shopping (it does have a habit of doing that. I was with DH and DD in the pram and we were walking home. About 2kms away we pulled the shade down and there were the baby food I had forgotton to pay for as they were hiding. They were $12 I felt really guilty but DH didn't. He insisted we keep them although to be honest I wasn't walking back another 2kms to the shop to pay.
DD has taken a chocolate bar of the shelf and eaten it paper and all and seeing as I only had a few dollars on me for the item I intended to buy and they left it where she could reach (in the check out down low for the little ones) I thought well too bad.

LOL oh I love this thread, so glad to know my kid isn't the only klepto out there!!
DD1 and I were looking at makeup the other day and I couldn't find a blush that suits my colouring, so we wandered off to do some more shopping and as I was packing the stroller up to go in the car, I couldn't close it up. I was like, 'Huh?' and unfolded it to see if there was anything in the basket underneath, and sure enough, DD1 had swiped a big eyeshadow compact... it was only a cheap and nasty brand though, and the mall was just heinous with Christmas shoppers so no way was I going to get the kids back out of the car to take it back to the store lol.... I just called it an early Christmas present for DD1 and let her smear it all over her face :/

Ha ha this thread is hilarious. I know DS is a klepto so I'm really careful about checking for hidden items before we leave the store. Once #2 comes though I'm sure I'll end up with a lot more unoticed items.

Once I turned my back on DS at Walmart to say Hi to someone I knew and when I had turned back around DS had filled (and I mean FILLED) our cart with these huge bags of M&Ms. He had emptied two whole big boxes of them into our cart. Took me awhile to put them all back.

Another time I was at Safeway and he was riding in the Car Cart with his little friend. They were strapped in so I wasn't too worried. When we got tot the counter I peaked in to see the car filled with boxes of stuffing. They had torn and shredded one of the boxes so I paid for that one but the rest of them thankfully were in tact and went back on the shlef. The stuffing is still in my cupboard waiting to be used one day.
