'What every parent needs to know'

I am currently reading 'What every parent needs to know' by Margot Sunderland and so far it is a fantastic book I have to say ! Really nice to get an educated perspective on the benefits on gentle parenting. Have recommended it to everyone ! Anyone else read it ?

Yep I borrowed it from my local library and read it when Jazz was just a newborn, it's GREAT!

I liekd the old title - it appealed to me more, but I guess if this one means more people read it then YAY!

I am constantly re-reading mine- it is great. Help reenforce why i try to do things the way i do.

Its my bible! Like Falguni I conitnually re read it. EVERY one should read it!

I agree ! I've been telling everyone you've GOT TO read this book ! I actually ordered it from Angus & Robertson and they tried to get it under the old title ( I liked the old title better too Leasha ) but they ended up ringing me to let me know they could only get it under the new title.

I love that it just sort of reinforces my parenting choices with scientific evidence. In a world where people say don't do this or that, you'll spoil her, and whatever, I've always just sort of gone with my gut instinct on what felt right or wrong and now I can tell them see science says so too !

Yep. BB is the only reason it is in my bookshelf. I wanted it when it was hard to get and ended up getting it from the states for a ridiculous price. Right before it was reprinted.

Oh it's really a good, interesting read. My friend of mine who is a childcare worker recommended it to me. Good to see it's also received well here.
