Anyone tried the go duster?

I hate dusting but I live in an area where it just has to be done, I have heard mixed reviews about the go duster so I thought I would ask on here - anyone tried it? Is it worth it?

My mum bought me one and I didn't like it. But I live on the corner of a very busy dirt road so my house is always being covered in dust and dirt, it's quite disgusting really. It didn't really do much here. Mr Sheen and a cloth is better for my house.

I found it didn't revolve as quickly as it does on the ad and is really noisy. It didn't remove all the dust (kind of just shifted it aroud) and the little keyboard cleaner head didn't clean my laptop either. It might be different for a less dusty house though.

I brought one cause I am allergic to furniture polish, but yeah it is pretty crap. You have to spray it with some stuff before you use it. I actually just binned mine this week. I will be back to my good old dusting cloths.

I bought an imitation one and I too found you have to spray it, or the surface, with something before you use it. Otherwise, all it does is move the dust around.

Having said that, I LOVE it for my office where I am not as fussy about dust, and I don't want to pick everything up. Its nice and easy to dust fiddly things without moving them or it really disturbing them.
