hi
i'd just stop it. since he seems to be over it and not looking for it.
as alternative, you could express for few nights and store in the freezer.
in this way if he changes his mind your milk supply is still there...
good luck
Hi
My DS2 is now only feeding before bed at night - he just has cups of a bit of milk during the day and water - and doesn't ask for feeds etc. And the last week before bed - he fusses and couldnt really care less about a feed - so I don't persist - but I was scared to stop altogether - just in case (whatever the "case" was)
Well, I am over this now LOL - it is more a fight to try and get him to have a feed than not!
So, should I just stop cold turkey ??- or feed every couple of days - I just can't remember how I did it with my other two![]()
Secretly I am looking forward to a bit more night time independance ...![]()

Sami, you could always offer and if he refuses, don't push the issue. If he asks, then fine, give him what he wants. Otherwise, don't make it a battle. It may just be a phase and he may come back to bfing, or he may not. Letting him decide is fine.
Maybe try don't ask don't refuse... or yeah, what Jen said
All the best~
the last few nights it has been barely a couple of minutes - he is just not asking. I haven't fed him overnight for at least 3 months either.
I suppose I was worried to just stop, and then if he decided he wanted a feed after a week i would be all dried up!
So I think in my mind he is weaning - he seems a bit young, but i think he just wants independence alot earlier than the other two - he sees them drinking from cups and feeding etc and just wants to have an icypole like they do instead of boob.
Thanks ladies
