    Sunscreen that won't aggrevate eczema

    Hi

My 4 year old DD is about to start pre-school where she will be required to wear sunscreen each day. She is very fair and gets flare-ups of eczema, particularly from sunscreen.

We have tried toddler formulations for sensitive skin from various brands,ie: Banana Boat, Cancer Council, Hamilton and Sun Sense, but they all aggrevate the eczema and make it hard to keep it at bay.

Can anyone recommend a sunscreen which does not do this?

    Thanks

    Hi,
Our health nurse recommended 'Avene' (sp?) sunscreen. I think you need to get it from a pharmacy that stocks their range. I never got around to using it, but I have heard it is fantastic for sensitive skin / eczema.

Invisible Zinc Junior Roll-on lotion works best for my son. Even natural ones affect him. this one has never been a problem

Avene is AWESOME for that though can be a little expensive.
UV natural is also good for eczema and sensitive skill.

Thanks all for your very helpful replies!

Was wondering if anyone has tried Grahams Sunclear Sunscreen which apparently has just won the award for Australia's best sunscreen? The website also has lots of testimonials about their Calendulus Plus cream...

    Thanks again
