    Would you use dettol?

DS has had gastro. So nappies are just lovely... Even wet ones smell way more off than usual!
I would normally do a strip wash after anything like this, but I only did one last week.
So do you think a bit of dettol through the wash would be ok? If it was just flats I wouldn't even ask. But not sure about MCN's...

    TIA

I'm not sure as I am allergic to Dettol. Have you tried white vinegar in the final rinse?

    Sage

Vinegar can't be used with mcn's coz it can ruin the water proof layer. Thats why I was trying to think of something else that would disinfect, but is safe at the same time.

The dettol laundry rinse stuff would be fine - not sure about normal dettol.

Either that or canestan - I use the canestan rinse for every wash anyway.

    In the laundry detergent aisle.
