DH and I have decided to save our pennies and go for a 5 week road trip from Perth to Brisbane this time next year!
We need to trade in our car next year, so we're looking at a couple of different options - either buying another sedan, which is what we have now, or buying a 4WD for travel purposes. I'm not sure about the Perth-Brisbane trip though, is there a need for a 4WD?
Anyway, I'm looking for tips from anyone, places I can't miss, etc. Please help!
The best part is - DH says that we can do a few BB meetups along the way!!!
Awesome, that will be an experience of a lifetime. Are you staying in hotels/motels, or will you be camping along the way or towing a camper trailer or something similar?
We did a 7 week road trip up to the Top End of Australia we left early August and got home late September we bought a four wheel drive and my DH built a you beaut camper trailer, we had a ball it was a great experience for the kids too.
We love the south coast, places like Batemans Bay, Narooma,Mollymook etc are all lovely coastal area's. I'm sure you will find loads of awesome spots to stop off along the way. I'm in Brissy ..maybe we could organise a brissy meet up for you?
