I have a voucher and some birthday money to spend, lucky me I know! I am after some opinions and advice on food processors and mixmasters. I have my eye on a Kenwood food processor with a blender attachment included. The blender attachment is a must as our blender is broken. I would also like a mixmaster as well but I'm wondering if a food processor can do all the things a mixmaster can do and is therefore unneccesary?
Particularly in relation to baking i.e. can a food processor mix a cake batter effectively, or cream butter & sugar, or is it just the wrong appliance for baking? If that is the case I will probably get one of the compact style mixmasters that are on the market too.
Any suggestions on reliable brands would be great too. My budget is around $300.
