Need home remedy on how to clean Sterling Silver Jewellery !!!
Hi all,
(Not sure if i have this in the right area so please feel free to move Mods if need be).
I found an original 1970's retro Kissing Cousins necklace in the Vinnies OP shop yesterday at a bargain of a whole $1.50, it's not a replica as the clasp is vintage style & chain too (just like i had as kid in the 70's) ... anyway, it appears to be Sterling Silver and is in great condition and needs a bit more shine to it IYKWIM ... so, Does any know a home remedy on how to bring some life back to some Sterling Silver (and bring the bling bling life back into this ever so cute pendant & necklace) ???
Smiles,
Whilst I haven't got my Shannon books on hand atm... I did recently buy a cleaning cloth from Goldmark to clean/polish my silver jewellery.
HTH
Thanks heaps CBG ... too funny would you believe i have one of those jewellery cloths as i dug it out of the cupboard before and it's had it's days (i mean it's really grotty from jewellery cleaning) ... unless someone here thinks it would be ok to wash & dry this cloth
I remember years ago reading that you can clean Gold jewellery with toothpaste but i'm not sure if it was including Sterling Silver ... So, i'm hoping someone might suggest this (i don't wanna risk it right now in case i ruin the jewellery) !!
