8 weeks till Valentines Day! Looking Good for the day of Loooove XoxOxoX
Hi everyone, There's 8 weeks until Valentines day.... A day where I intend to look hot and 'feel' sexy!
I thought I'd start this thread for anyone else who wants to be encouraged to look their best for the most romantic day of the year... Valentines Day... The day of Loooove!!
My goal is to loose around 1/2 a kg a week so I'm going to aim for 62.5kg
Thanks CQueen I will eat well and I have 2 weeks off work so I will exercise every day too... I had a goal in the 12 week pre christmas challenge to loose 7 kg and I have lost 6.1kg so far and I am really hoping to be good and get down to 65.4kg on christmas day to feel that sense of achievement. I am pretty sure I will reach my Valentines day goal and just can't wait! dh and I are going to spend the night before Valentines day at Jupiters on the Gold Coast and see a show there and then check into the Marriott the next day on Valentines day so I really want to be looking and feeling great are you doing anything special?
I'm in!! Although it's probably going to be more like a 7 week challenge by the time Christmas is over and I can really knuckle down. We're going away the week of Valentines to the coast and I need to get back into my swimmers I'd love to lose 1kg a week - so 7kg between now and then. That would see me nearly halfway to my goal but I know that's quite a lot, especially since I'm still breastfeeding DS. Will be happy with 0.5 to 1kg a week.
My plan is to mainly change what I'm eating - no more junky stuff (esp chocolate!!) and better (smaller) portion sizes. I might be able to squeeze in a bit of exercise here and there - mainly walking with the pram I think.

count me in day before is my birthday so it is on like donkey kong i have 15kg to lose ( again ) i just got wii fit for chrissy so i'll be jumping on that every chance i get
OK so Joeve (my TTC buddy) is right I will be sporting a cute little bumpity bump for Valentines day as I will be 11 weeks pregnant YAY SO I wont be loosing that 1/2 a kg a week but I will be eating well and doing gentle exercise. My new goal will but be to be good and hopefully not put weight on around my butt! belly growing ok... Butt growing not ok at least not in the 1st 12 weeks
CQueen yep my valentines day will still be amazing, I thought yesterday about not going but we already purchased the jupiters accomodation and show tickets so we will still be going to the Gold Coast, I was worried I would be sick as my 1st pg I was vomiting right up to 12 weeks but I have got those sea bands for travel/morning sickness so we will still make the trip down and at least I will just be able to enjoy the buffet breakfast
Kaz hon so nice to see you on board I always feel a bit better with a tan and more confident in the swimmers so maybe you could work on that before you go away, either from a bottle or the real thing (I know it's not that healthy these days but my skin just gets a tan when I am at the beach regardless of putting on the sun screen) good luck with your goal.

How did everyone go at christmas?? I am still in the 66's o I can't complain, I didn't over eat and dint' feel full all day so I was pretty impressed with myself... If you did over eat just be good now and you will reach your valentines day goals
Cherished!! I said it in the other thread but congrats darl. Awesome news!! Unfortunately I tend to just burn and then peel. Mild sunburn will make me go a slightly darker shade but there's like a 30 sec window between mild burn and all over pain so I try to stay out of the sun.
Shazz - We just bought a Wii yesterday with all the sports and fitness games - the only ones we own So I'm going to be jumping on that every day for some exercise and planning to eat healthy food. I did two workouts in the Fitness First New U game today. They seemed like warm ups thought so I'm hoping they get a little more difficult.
AFM - I need to cut out chocolate especially which will be hard because I'm in the habit of eating it everyday but I never used to eat it much so I know if I just get through the first week or so without it, I'll stop craving it. It's a pick me up when I get tired but I need to find something else that's healthy. I checked my dates today and we're actually going away the week before valentines but since I won't have reached my goal weight by then, it might keep me sane while away
Yeah hot choc is a good idea - I have some low cal/fat Jarrah ones in the pantry. Well I weighed myself again on the Wii yesterday and it reckons I've lost 1.6kg I'm not sure how accurate it is going to be cause I can't have lost that in two or three days!!!
