    Book/s Of The Year For 2009?

    Just thought I'd post a thread so everyone could write what their book/s of the year we
    I'm always on the hunt to add new books to my list (its a long list, ) - but interested to see what you guys recommend that you read & loved in 2009

    And also what you've got listed to read in 2010

    Some highlights that I read this year were;

    * The Bookseller Of Kabul
    * The Elegance Of The Hedgehog (focused reading but I LOVED it!)
    * Jasper Jones
    * The Shadow Of The Wind
    * One Foot Wrong
    * Ransom

    There's probably a heap more but they stand out without having to think about it

    For 2010 I'm hoping to read

    * Barack Obama's Dreams From My Father
    * Books 2 & 3 of the Millenium Series (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo)
    * Two Lives by Vikram Seth

    I"m gonna have to start using Library Thing.

    ETA - I *do* remember reading The Story of Edgar Sawtelle - because Oprah raved about it... Really and truly don't bother.
