has anyone made their own version of a 'little squirt'? was it successful? how much did it cost?
awhile back i saw instructions on how to make your own, but will have to find them again. i think they said they got all the things needed from bunnings for under $30.
We just got a garden trigger hose sprayer and attached it to the bath (we never use the bath anyway as B showers with us or bathes in the laundry sink, which is a better size). However I am utterly paranoid about the end being left in a puddle of water and sucking it up back into the household water supply. According to the plumber who refused to install the Little Squirt I bought, this can happen unless you have a backflow valve. According to the makers of Little Squirt, the LS does have the appropriate valves, but doesn't have the Australian Standard mark as they didn't want to pay for it, hence why plumber wouldn't install to the toilet. So, that's something to think about if you DIY.
