It is now 2010 and I am 10kg's heavier ...
I have decided to put myself on a low GI diet because I was disgnosed with PCOS recently and it scares me to think what COULD happen in my later stages of life.
By then end of 2010 I would like to be down to my 'goal' weight of 65 kg's (I will adjust that figure when I get closer as I may not feel comfortable at 65kg's)
DP and I have been TTC for a few months now and hopefully by shedding some weight we will be able to conceive (not to mention the health benefits for myself as well!!)
The low GI diet MUST become my way of living (Cardiovascular disease and diabetes runs in my family like crazy) and its not surprising why - THEY ARE ALLLLLLL OVERWEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do NOT want to be overweight - i have been most of my life and I do not want my children to suffer with their weight either! (currently has 8yo DD) so i need to lead by example...
Hopefully i wont get too side tracked and stay focused.
DP is pretty good and tries to 'motivate' me (I call it nagging) and sometimes I yell at him when he mentions about my weightpoor fella!
