Anyone use bbh multifit nappies as their staple mcn??

    Hi all..

Just wondering if anyone uses the bbh multifit magicalls as their main mcn? We have tried cushie tushies which are and continue to be a royal pain with leaks all the time, itti bittis which are suprisingly good for ds but we want a osfa option, bumgenius which are great but i still dont really like the velcro and they look like ds might grow out of them sooner than the bbh and the bbh multifits which work great as long as i stuff them properly.

We are tossing up getting a 12 pack to fill out our collection to full time use but i was just wondering if anyone has come across any issues with these nappies when using them for a prolonged periods. e.g probs with elastics etc and i think i have read somewhere that they can smell???

    Any feedback would be great.

    Thanks!

    Hi Isabel,

there are a few ladies on here that use BBH or demonstrate for them so they would be able to give you some good info. I recently got to see the new multifit BBh when I organised a cloth nappy fashion parade and they look fantastic. The ladies who received them for their bubs seemed really happy with them. i think every nappy has it's pros and cons and will work better for some then others. I have never bought more then 5 of the same nappy but I just like trying new things out

If you are finding that they smell a simple strip wash will usually fix the problem and just make sure you don't get a build up of washing liquid/powder.

The only thing I have noticed with the older style magical was my daughter had a reaction to the suede cloth inner and got a red butt but that was straight away so you would have noticed if that was a problem already

Thanks Saram. Mine dont smell yet i just think i may have read that somewhere. Im not sure i read alot of things lol. DS hasn't had any reaction to the nappies yet and we have used them for about a month now. They are a great fit on ds and dont leak like some of the others i have tried. Overall i am happy with them but just want to know if longer term whether there are any probs that crop us with this nappy. Its a large outlay of money to find out in a few months time something goes wrong with them iykwim.
