Yes Rit dye remover can be bought in the supermarket in the laundry section. I bought some yesterday for red dye that ran into DP's shirt and it worked pretty well.
Soaking in a cheap whitener (not nappysan) a blue item has left some blue marks on a new pale shirt. I took the hat out when I realised but left the shirt soaking in the bucket still till I could find a remedy. I did a google and USA sites mention something called RIT. I dont know if that works on colours or if its even sold here in Australia.
The shirt was a xmas gift for DH and something he is really in need of for work next week. I wasnt a cheap one!!
Help?

oh great. So, does the shirt need to be kept wet/soaking until I can get some Rit? or can I wash it and dry it (line) until I get some?
I think they say don't wash (sorry I threw the pack out)
