    Talking 1st birthday brunch -ideas

    weve decided to have a birthday brunch for DD's 1st bday to try and avoid the heat, so i need some food ideas!!! i dont want to do any cooking/heating on the day
    i have some suggestions:

    -crossaints
    -fruit salad
    -jelly

    what else

    also a theme, were thinking of doing daisies/sunflowers as its summer, any other ideas???

    fairy bread cut into shapes?
    choc ripple biscuit cake? you could dye the cream green and buy some sugar flowers to decorate?
    homemade dips? can be kept cool by surrounding the container with ice

    Pikelets with jam and cream - they don't HAVE to be re-heated.
    Scones
    Fruit muffins (made the day before)
    Fruit / Muesli Slice
    Yoghurt Cups
    Sandwhiches
    Cinnamon Donuts

    -Watermelon or fruit kebabs.
    -banana bread
    -cheese & vegemit scrolls
    -friands & muffins
